Has anyone ever tested their Alk? is 13.6 to high for NSW ?

Its towards the high end (about 5meq/L) but shouldn't be a problem as long as your tank alkalinity isn't too high. You may want to check other params and backcheck your alkalinity kit with a known standard sample (if available) if you haven't Already. I have noticed some pretty crappy calcium values with RC and a high variability between batches.
