I wouldn't bet my mortgage, but I also wouldn't be at all surprised if the doors opened in June. I would guess July is the worst case though I think the guys are pretty set on trying to get things wrapped up before July.
I know we've been talking about this for a year now, but... I actually had a chance to check the place out recently and while there is still a little more to do a LOT has been completed and they really are in the last phase of wrapping things up so I'm saying this with a little more insight than I've had previously.
So saying that let me tell you, the place looks GREAT, I'm really excited to see it open. The *vibe* of the shop is fantastic, and the crew you already know is top notch. The SPS tanks Skip posted a video of previously are an amazing site even empty and the display tanks for the shop are just incredible. There actually is a fair amount of livestock in the shop already, and I *think* there is a bunch of livestock that's also a remote location. What they have right now before they are even open is some of the nicest stuff I've ever seen in the valley.
As to pricing my guess is most will be pleasantly surprised as to the cost. If you're willing to consider the VALUE (the QT process, selection, etc) as opposed to just the bottom line you'll probably be even more impressed, but sticker itself shouldn't be anything particularly surprising. At least, that's the impression that I get, I haven't talked about specific pricing with the guys in any way other than philosophical so I'm simply extrapolating from those conversations.
End of the day, we're getting close to having another shop in town, and it should be as good as many of us hoped it would be.
