REEF CURRENTS 2014 - 2/22 Houston, TX!!!

The Houston MASNA affiliated club, Marine Aquarium and Reef Society Houston (MARSH)
in conjunction with Steve Tyree's Coral Farmers' Market has organized
a one day reef conference called Reef Currents.

A. Ticket prices are $35 through Feb 16th online. After Feb 16th,
tickets will only be available at the door for $45.
Just the vendor hall is $15.

B. When: Saturday February 22, 2014 from ~8am to 6pm.

C. Where: Sheraton IAH next to Houston's International Airport
(Special rate: $99 single, $119 double, $129 club)

D. What:

Oh do you remember reading about Sea & Reef resurrecting the C-quest clownfish line?

Well, one of our vendors: FJW is bringing a complete line of Sea & Reef clownfish for purchase
& for their own raffle. I don't know how many total clownfish are being raffled off, one or more?

Why didn't I find out about this until baringcs told me about it the other day?! Oh no! I have to work on Saturday though. I do sales for Home Depot (cabinets, countertops, etc.) and I was trying to think of a reason to justify going as a business expense. Home Depot really needs to start breaking into the aquarium business so they can send me all over the place designing aquariums in home for people.

Check the schedule for the raffle time.

You are right about Home Depot marketing to the aquarium hobby. I've spent thousands
there, doing plumbing, stands, woodworking, electrical, etc.

I wish I didn't have to mail order some parts that Home Depot should carry.

But the only reason I didn't go after it was you said you wanted it...

Nice score you will have to cut me mouth or two when it grows out some...

As far as the conference... AWESOME for a first time event...

The speakers.. Copps, Pedersen and Fenner how could you not like it?

Not to mention the vendors and sponsors supporting the event!

As usual I didn't win squat at the raffle... Really wanted that look down tank from DSA and one of the skimmers, oh and the 100lbs of pukani rock and (you see my problem...?).

Can't wait for next year!
