Ok time to get rid of all the Reef equipment I have left.

Hey Paul, it's Thomas. Just wanted to say thanks for the bakpak! It was nice meeting you and chatting some.

Hey Thomas,
Your Welcome.
Same here.

I see your thinking of adding an air stone.
You don't need to just close the valve at the end of the air intake tube then slowly open it to the disired air bubbles you want.

If you do add an air stone get some hard tubing for the air tubing to fit over put a small piece of tubing on the bottom then a wood air stone on the bottom
Drill a small hole in the top of the collection cup put the hard tubing through it and hook an air pump to it then you can get rid of the pump you won't need it
That's old school but to be honest you can get some very fine bubbles years ago that's how I ran all my skimmers from CPR
If you don't understand the above directions feel free to give me a call I would be happy to go over it with you

Thanks for the info! Yes, I have it opened up to a good bubble flow, I just had seen people mentioning that they got a noticeable increase in skimmate production after adding the additional air stone... I'm going to give it another week or two to settle in before deciding.

If willing to ship to 86406 I would like to buy:

1-Quite One 4000 return pump $40
1-Quite One 2200 return pump $25

I would pay for shipping. I can paypal.

I just purchased Paul's select a watt ballasts. I am running 7 x 400watt radiums on my system: 4 on the 300gallon and 3 on the 150gallon. I have 4 x 250watt galaxy ballasts and 8 x 250watt radium bulbs to unload!
