I have a purple sailfin tang and I was wondering if a blue hippo or naso tang could co exist ?

Well considering that your tank is inadequate for a salifin tang, adding another tang will only result in problems.

I am not sure you might be able to do the hippo but the purple will probably harass him untill he either dies or is really hurt. The naso will just get to big. So from what i see probably not.

By purple sailfin Im guessing you mean Zebramosa xanthurum and not Zebramosa desjardini or Zebramosa veliferum.A purple would be fine in a 120 IMO.Not a naso, people have had success with tangs of different genus together, so give it a shot if you want with the hippo.

I am thinking of going with a blue hippo or maybe a powder blue. I know that purple tangs tend to be dominate so is it better to get a bigger blue hippo or powder blue tang or should i get a smaller one?

Powder Blue is probably more appropriate for the size of your tank.
