Reef friendly Yellow fish

Centropyge flavissima- lemon peel but reef safe is not a guarantee

Yellow wrasse, H. crysus. I had one that was right at 6" and never bothered any inverts or other fish. They are very mild mannered. Great reef fish IMO.\

Yellow wrasse is a great choice. It's a very friendly fish. My only incident with one was that it ate my squamosa clam. Should've done more research... It leaves everything else alone though.

Of all the angels I've kept, lemonpeels are definitely one of the prettiest, but mine tore my reef apart. It picked at most of my corals and even started nibbling on my clownfish's dorsal fins. It's not a fish I would ever keep again.

Yellow long nose butterfly. All the ones I've kept never went after coral

Not sure how I forgot about a foxface

One of my favorites, just works in almost any tank and that bright splash of yellow, shape, and black/white face markings are so distinct. If I already had a solid yellow fish I would go for a magnificent, wither way having one.

Love my yellow assessor. They usually live in caves with no light so they can swim upside down and completely sideways. Really cool to sit and watch

My magnificent was an absolute jerk.. killed my purple tang and chased my powder brown so bad it jumped out of the tank

Love, love my Foxface. Even though he's the largest (by a smidge) he is pretty timid, doesn't bother anything else in the tank.

Bummer, seems like there is a chance for any individual fish to go "psycho", I just had to get rid of a two-spot tang that went super aggressive on the whole tank.

My Foxface likes to be the mediator most of the time (will insert himself between two fish and use its defensive display), and tried with the tang. But it was on a mission starting with my Anthia so good bye!

I had the same problem with my Yellow Wrasse, the common "Banana Wrasse". He was fine and one day he took multiple circular chunks out of my Maxima clam. I was able to get him out quickly so the Maxima did did OK after several months and the Mantel healed. I have not try another yellow "banana wrasse"
