LPSGIRL; That is one of the most beautiful wrasses I have ever seen Hope he does well for you.

Thanks, I love him too. He eats like a pig but is not a bully to any of my other fish. One of my favorite threads is the one stickied in the reef fishes forum about fairy wrasses. Believe it or not his coloration is the "norm" for Scott's wrasses from the GBR - now some of the color variations from Cook Islands are just amazing!! Fairy, flasher and leopard wrasses are, IMO, the best reef fishes around.

You know that when I did marine in the 70's, fish were coming in mainly from Phillipines, Hawaii and Caribean/ Florida. I thought I had seen all the wrasses then but now they import from Fiji, Bali, Tonga, the Solomons and I see new fish particularly dynamite wrasses. How is he doing?

He's doing great! Spotting healthy eating fish at any lfs is always is a major key to getting good results. This was not a quick decision on my part to pick him up there (it cost me the discount Max was offering when our club was there), but I wanted to wait and watch for a few days. I like ReffHotSpot, Max has been very nice the times I have been there.

Here he is at feeding time (now I just need all fish to sit still for a decent photo :) )
