Reef lobster predator?

Can a purple reef lobster be the cause of fish disappearance?

I have lost smaller fish as well as shrimp, one by one over the past 4 or so months, anthias, firefish, mystery wrasse, 4 line wrasse, and other small wrasses. All of the larger fish are doing really well.

The lobster is about 4 inches in size. I keep looking for other killers at night with a flash light but haven't seen anything. No loud snapping noises to indicate the presence of a mantis. I am stumped!

I only know it from my red reef lobster (Enoplometopus occidentalis). But I heard it from other hobbyist that the purple reef lobster that make´s too.

Definitely. Just because its a reef lobster doe nt mean its reef safe. Remove it.

Yep, not reef safe because they eat your other inhabitants, including fish.
