Reef Octopus Askol pump knock off

Have any of you had an opportunity to learn anything or had any experience with the new Reef Octopus Askol pump knockoff? I picked up word in a blog that there is a Red Dragon knock off available or soon to be available that might be worth a look for an energy efficient return pump. I am fishing for info on this.

If you look on their site the largest bubble blaster list for about $2795.00 if my conversion is correct.

My Super Reef Octopus 6000 skimmer wil be here tomorrow so we will find out how goo dthe bubbleblaster pump works.

the numbers look great, but what really worries me is the fact that CV has such a bad record of CS, and these have a 3 year warranty... As long as the pump does what it is advertised, and they actually make good on the 3 year warranty, then it should be good, but hell no is it better than an askol/laguna w/ CNC'ed wet end, IMO...
