So I'm looking to put this skimmer inside chamber one in my oceanic biocube 29. Will this work as this is a hob skimmer?

Don't see why it wouldn't? Read through some of the comments, and someone said they had it running in the tank, so being submersible doesn't seem like it's an issue. My concern would be the size. It looks very large to fit in the first chamber, or any chamber for that matter.

Not as large as you think. It fits in the first chamber with quite a bit of headroom actually. I will just need to remove the false bottom

Looking to see how you liked this unit and how well it fit into the first chamber. I was looking at getting one and wanted to get some feedback before I ordered.
