Is anyone else running one of these?
For about 3 months now, I've have one operating in an approximate 190 gallon system (150 display / 40 gallon sump). It replaced an older Super Reef Octopus 3000.
It just doesn't seem to be performing like I thought it would. The bubbles in the skimmer body just don't look that "dense". I have it in 8.5" of water right now, with the variable pump turned all the way up. There isn't any adjustment for the air.
Are there any mods or suggestions for improving the bubble density? Would lowering the water level help with this?
