Reef octopus super reef 2000 internal skimmer question

My skimmer looks like it has crapped out on me. I turned it off and when i went to turn it on, it would not. I took it out of the sump, cleaned it, and put it back. I could feel the pump vibrating but not pushing water. Might be time to buy a new one.

I only have a space 9 and 1/2 inches wide and 14 inches long.

My tank is 48x24

Thoughts on Reef Octopus Super Reef 2000 internal skimmer or something around that price range that fits in my sump?

Put the pump in water. Then use something pointy to start the impeller spinning. If you like, bring it by me and I'll take a look.

Also the warranty on that pump is pretty long, so I'd give the manufacturer a call. And why replace the Skimmer, when you could just replace the pump.

Definitely contact Coralvue if nothing else works, i have had my share of problems with the pump when i owned it. Great skimmer, but i personally found the pump to be garbage. They should take care of you. Wiz.
