reef ramblings

Sharing a few thoughts and observations on my new 75 reef. The pygmy angel is the booger of the tank...swimming around and terrorizing everyone. I used my leader of the pack mentality that doesn't work with my dogs either and scolded her. On a good note for those of us who have bryopsis algae, she keeps it under control. She eats off the ferny looking leaves which leaves some unsightly stems but as I said, controls its spread.

Adam, a.k.a. papagimp came over and picked up his new sump/fug and got to see why I love flame hawkfish. Admit it Adam...you want one now huh?!! Meanwhile, I have a starry blenny in quarantine...1 month 4 days and counting. I am trying to last to the 6 week period. This is hard! By the way Paul T., where is the article I wrote on the quarantine tank?

I love my new tank. I said I would never do a reef again but now I find myself searching for just the few perfect pieces I will put in this tank. SUCKER!

You might want to sell your invertebrates while you're at it.

But I LOVE the shrimpy kind!!!! And sorry about my dropped ball on the QT article. I'll get that back on the list of things to do....
