im building my own protein skimmer for my 12g nancobue dx and i was wondering if super glue or gorilla glue was safe to use when it was fully dried and rinsed. if not i guess i will have to go buy some sort of reef glue for like 20 dollars an ounce.
Super glue is the standard for glueing frags and is completly reef safe after it dries. Make sure it is completely dry and set before you install it for maximum strength.
Standard superglue works great in reefs. Depending what you're doing with it, I found that superglue gel works better than the liquid stuff. Also, depending what you're making the skimmer out of, weldon works great too.
