Easier and still quite colorful Wrasse to consider is a hovens wrasse. Might pick at some cuc but that is it.

I have had excellent luck with the Fairly wrasses. They are a little bigger than the flashers and very beautiful; never had one be a problem in a reef, even with shrimp. try some of the smaller ones: Lubbock's, clown, blue-sided are all great. The Scott's and Exquisite are my favorites, but your tank is a little small for them.
 
Six line wrasse. Great little active wrasse. Lots of personality. Might have to watch any wrasse with your plankton feeders though in a 55. (I figured I would beat myself to that comment before someone else)

Sixline wrasses are among the most regretted fishes purchased by reefers.

I would not put a yellow tang in a 55 either.
