reef safe ich meds

I used a combination of SeaChem Metonidazole, garlic and a neon goby and have been ich free for months now.

I would grind the fresh garlic with alittle tank water. I then drained out the liquid and would soak the food in it. After soaking the food I would then sprinkle the Metonidazole on it. I did this for about 3 weeks.

Only 1 fish had minor ich spots (less than 20). Then about 3 days later they would disapear. In about a week they would be back to start the cycle again. This went on for about 3 weeks. I tried treating with just garlic during that period, but it kept coming back. Since I don't even see a spot anymore and it's been months, I would say she is cured.

I did QT the fish, just not long enough, I won't let that happen again.
