Reef Salt or Probiotic Salt

I want to switch to the Aquaforest salt brand. I currently use ESV and while I really don't have anything bad to say about it I am just getting to lazy to mix it. It's way too much work. My system is doing fine and I don't want to change anything other then my sat brand. I run a BP reactor. Can I go with probiotic salt or should I go with reef salt? Will there be any negative impacts to use probity with my BP reactor and if I am not using the rest of the AF products?

Thanks,

Adam

Hello, explain the type of corals you keep, probiotic salt is designed for use with demanding sps corals, thanks

It is ok to use probiotic reef Salt with BP, but, that salt is mainly designed to pair with Pro Bio S and Np Pro. Np Pro is a liquid polymer, essentially the same as BP, but in liquid form. It can be done, with careful monitoring and observations. The only problem I see with this is potentially bottoming out nitrates and imbalance with phosphate. Cheers

I am higher in nitrates now then i'd like to be (.8). Just added prodibio to further colonize my reactor. I'll wait it out a little first as I got the salt but am not due for a WC yet.
