Reef Tank Union University!!

I ran by the Reef Down Under today on my lunch break. Craig said that Union University, here in Jackson, is installing a 700+ gallon reef tank in the new science building, which is under construction. That really excited me as I live in Jackson and am Alum from Union! Plus, the Provost at Union was my student at Baptist School of Nursing! I see some meetings in Jackson in the not too far future!! We should be able to use a conference room or classroom on weekends on occasion for our meetings.

i'm just a lowly orderly right now.

on the union tank. hmmmmmm when i was working at rdu last year it was going to be a 900 gallon freshwater tank. thank goodness they aren't going to waste the space with that. ohhhh i'm a reef snob, right?

Congratulations Joey!! Maybe I misunderstood, but I thought Craig said it was a reeftank. At my age, my hearing is not what is should be! I must check with Craig again.

they very well could have changed their minds. and i hope they did. i'd rather see a big reef than a freshwater tank with bland fish and stumps. heh.

I used to teach Accounting for Union at the Memphis/Germantown campus. Loved it.

Hope something happens with this in Jackson.

Sadly, I must retract what I said about the Union tank being a reeftank. It is actually freshwater and the fish were placed in it today.

Alright enough putting down the freshwater tanks. My 250gal freshwater tank is awesome will some pretty big fish. It gets just as much attention as my 75 gal salt.
