Reef Temperature question

I read a thread or an article on here that talked about how much higher the water temperature gets on the natural reef than what we keep our tanks at. Could anyone post a link to that. I of course can not get the search function to work.

I don't have a link but I do know for a fact that natural reef temp can get up to the 90's
