Came across these lights on ebay and they have me intrigued. He has a website too. I have not found many reviews on the lights and it looks as though his lights have been used primarily for commercial purposes (aquariums etc).

Does anyone have experience with these or can check them out and give me your thoughts?

Thanks!

I would make sure they are UL listed at the very least. I didn't see anything about that on the site. I would also worry about long term support with such a small company.

Thanks for the advice. If you wouldn't mind, can you explain the UL thing to me. I'm new to light and don't know what that means.

UL listing means that the device was tested for things like flammability, electrical safety, etc. and found compliant with industry standards.

not trying to dis them, but I always look for UL or CE marks on stuff I plug into the wall or use around water.

UL is what to look for. CE has no weight in the USA. Also, a manufacturer can self certify CE conformity and mark the product.
