Hello everyone,

Wanted to share my 40gal reef tank. Couldn't find a section to post it seeing that the nano section is limited to 34gal, and the large section is also limited.


Petco dollar a gallon 40 breeder drilled 1in drain and 3/4 return
painted back blue.
40lbs of reef sand
about 35lbs live rock mixed with real reef rock
eshopps 3rd gen sump rated for 75gal
sicce return pump
eshopps ato box with tunze 3155 ato
ecotech mp10w
hydor 450 circulation pump
Chinese full spectrum LED light ( seems fine for now gonna upgrade to kessil)
custom built stand by me


livestock:
herald's angel
two green chromis
spotted sand sifter
alage bleeny
white misbar maroon clown
cleaner shrimp
and in time out in sump and sixline wrasse
RBTA hosted maroon

corals:
assorted zoas
neon green frogspawn
two purple tip hammers
green and purple hammer
couple acroporas
assorted acans deff know that one is a rainbow acan cant remember what the others are.

any ideas or suggestions I appreciate it a lot been doing reef for about a year now and still learning everyday. RC has helped a lot.

the green chromis probably won't make it in a 40 breeder. One will kill the other. I 've seen it time and time again, someone starts with 2-5 and within a year, they end up with one. Just how it goes. Be careful with the clowns, I know they are both maroons, but if one looks different than the other, they can snap one day for no reason.
