ReefCleaners.org group order?

Wheel of Time

New member
Within the next month it will be time to refresh my clean-up crew. Usually once a year or so I order / replenish the critters. We can do the group-buy and get a discount.

More than likely I'd like to order the 500 ceriths and a bunch of blue legs and some nassarius. Ill probably want to try some of the mangroves as well.

We can set it up for a delivery around the Dec meeting if anyone else wants in -- will make it easy for everyone to get their livestock that way.

Wheel of time:
I have bought there before, great place & excellent prices.
Use prome code MAAST at checkout, you'llk get 25% off :bounce3:

I tried their mangrove, but they are drag *** slow getting them to sprout.

Seth - I don't want to bog down your order. But if you do order, and other people kick in too, I'd be up for a "Reef Pod Pack" plus an order of mangroves. It's not worth it just for me. But if other people jump in too, you can count me in for that.

There is a wholesale outfit close by. I forget the companies name but I've hooked up with them at CTARS meetings. I'll try and find out who it is. Local pickup and prices were super low. I remember I picked up a lg CB shrimp for $7 and some hermits about 2 dozen for $8
not sure how those compare to the reef cleaners package?

Hi. I'm new here (from Stamford), and if this group buy is going to happen in the next week or so, I'd join in because my new (and first) tank should finish cycling in the next 10 or so days and it will be time to put in the CC.

Will be good to get many in on the order. nice. I see tank o tang is planning on exotic fish and corals in milford for the dec meeting. no date posted yet.

terahz that sounds like a good idea. If you need any help with the tank or tips plz just ask. lots of helpful local guys on the boards here in reef central.

rcinct cool, looks like many of us will be trying out mangroves and pods

zhang3 Im in Fairfield as well, so you and I can meet at my house in weston or at the Dec meeting if its easier. Ill post details on timing of the order once we get through Thansgiving next week.

Seth - I'm new to the group order thing... how does this work? You're placing the order? Or we all need to place an individual order, but use a code that "Groups" us?

Please advise.

Thanks.

Ive never done a group order either Scolley. But I dont mind placing the whole order myself, or we can set it up for everyone call in their portion (doesnt matter to me) It will all end up shipping to one address anyway I believe.

I dont know about other places, But I am just finishing one up with reefcleaners.

If the orders are placed by each person, then reefcleaners will bag each order seperatly, if all placed by one person then it would need to be sorted and bagged after arrival.

The free shipping kicks in at 150 dollars, and the order gets shipped to whatever one address you want it to be.

Placing one order would get rid of the part of trying to keep who is what and what they placed for an order so you know where the order is at and what orders might be missing

Just a small update on information;

Placing a single order might be the way to go with this as it will get rid of the chance of a last minute cancel and getting slapped with a high shipping charge

Is this still a possibility? I'd be interested in some cerith snails and maybe a couple mangroves. If someone is going in on the 500 ceriths that looks like a good opportunity to portion them out cheap.

Is this likely to happen in the next month or so? I need some more critters after my recent tank switchover and I'd gladly wait for this as it's the most cost effective way.
