reefers near Brodheadsville PA or surrounding area

Nice to meet a new reefer. I'm a little arther for you but your welcome to stop by. I always keep rags on hand. I'm in 17954

I get all my fish from something fishy I find they have the best selection of fish on hand and healthy. For corals I like this place called knock out aquatics In stroudsburg they have great prices on coral and a lot of it. As far as dry goods I just shop online.

Thanks for that! Never been there but I'll have to make the trip one day.

I live in the Reading area there is a guy local that can order just about anything. Reef Hut is the business name. Fish, coral, rock, water. His name is Will. Web site is reefhut.com

Looks like I am just out of range, bud. I am in Sellersville. About 30 mins south from Bethlehem down 309. I am always up for chatting about the hobby though!

Mountain Top here......Luzerne County
I usually find the hour drive to Something Fishy well worth while......but would love to check out the one in Stroudsburg. Anyone know their hours?

Finally getting a good number people from around the local area checking in. My idea is, to pick a date in the next couple of weeks and meeting up at a LFS. Let know of which LFS everyone would prefer. I'm thinking something fishy, ultra corals or knock out. Once a date and LFS is chosen, I will contact them and see if maybe, they will shoot us a small discount or something. Post ideas or thoughts. I'm getting excited, let make something happen.

Sounds like a great idea Phil. Good to see a lot of people in the area responding to the post.

I plan on a Something Fishy stop this Thursday early afternoon if anyone else is interested . I need to stock up on salt and they have 8 bucks off a box until September 8th.......plus a good frag sale

Keep it going

Keep it going

Ok so meet some really cool people tonight. RayinPA that thanks again for having me. It's a start, let keep it going. Post or send a PM if anyone is interested in getting together. Going to try and get a group together once a month(poconos and Lehigh valley mostly but all are welcome if they are willing to travel), lets shoot for early October.

I wouldn't mind. Early October I'll finally be off this horrid night shift and be back to a normal schedule. My current schedule is really what keeps me from being involved in these types of things. Keep me in the loop.

I live right around the corner from Phil & LOL i was following this post in discussions..obviously the wrong area.

Im up for meetings and such. Ray sry I couldnt make it, I heard it went really well and you got some really nice frags and such.

GO FLYERS!...yea that was a poke at you whiteshark....lol  we will have to watch a Devils/Flyers over some beers

IMO Ultra Corals in Bartonsville by far has the best looking corals and frags in the area (most expensive as well) Really, really nice looking stuff but bring your wallet cause it aint cheap!

Last night was my final night on night shift. Back on a Monday-Friday day schedule. Gonna spend the next few days acclimating myself. After that, I should be good to meet up somewhere if we decide to keep this going.

Savant, I'd love to catch a game sometime, but I'm not the most pleasant person to be around if the Devils are losing :lmao: Can't wait for hockey season to start. So glad I've been able to stream the preseason games so far. Being without hockey for so long is hard for me...

ROFL just what a Flyers fan loves to hear :ape:
Glad your getting back to being a "daywalker" :fun5:

Depends how long it takes to get to bed after getting back from the Devils home opener on the 4th ;)

If you haven't been to one (frag swap), you really need to try to make it. Prices average $10-$25 for everything but the rarest corals.

You can also register on fragswapper and set up purchases prior to the swap.
