Hopefully this doesn't violate any rules.

I noted that the RK2 firmware update was released on the 1st.

The caveat is that you have to reprogram/recalibrate, but sometimes that's unavoidable with a firmware update.

I think it's important to recognize vendors who value continued improvement of their product and offer free updates (although these appear to be fairly minor improvements. The next one, however, is very promising).

No, I don't work for them nor do I get anything in return. I'm just a satisfied customer!

And this post is just an FYI for those who don't spend any time in the vendor forums...

I am thinking of buying one, but am holding off until they start offering data logging. It's a sweet looking set up.

Yeah, I'm kind of on the fence, personally. I mean, I own it, but the data logging feature is not all that I want. I'm hoping they set up a little web server on it so getting the data from it (or programming it!) can be done via PC (although, in all honestly, programming this thing is like STUPID simple... I mean, my nine year old can do it).

I'm really hoping (in vain, I think) that they'll make it like that. But you never know...

The fact that they're working on data logging at all and are giving away the updates is very, very encouraging to me. I really try to be as supportive as I can to those who embrace the abilities of technologies and don't necessarily rape you for the priviledge of an update for your system...
