Reefkeeper 2

RKE Update....well had some time to kill today, so I spent it getting comfortable with this new unit....it has limits and initially is a bit tricky to navigate the menus and settings, but once you get them in, it works very nicely. I can see that I will need get a few additional "power strips @$90.00each... :O " But that can wait for now. Well I am happy, it is the first controller I have ever used and it should be functional as my system grows.........

OK a little update:

The RKE has some bugs...but Digital Aquatics is all over it...they have a firmware update for tomorrow....I have had some random lights shut off and back on and few other small bugs....but with that aside, this unit is very nice and I hooked up my Co2/solenoid system last night and it is holding like a rock on the effluent at 6.65ph. The standby feature is also very nice, you can temporarily shut off pumps for feeding (my Tsunami wave maker has a similar feature) so one button will shut off my main return, my closed loop and my skimmer if needed....each pump can be shut for as long as you like...makes target feeding easier....for me anyway. Overall I have give this thing a 9 on the geek-o-meter, but once the bugs are out...it will be 10 as far controllers IMO.
