Has anyone bought this device yet? I'm looking to buy it and I was wanting to weight the pros and cons before I take the plunge.

I have one, works good for what I use it for which is to control lights and monitor Ph and temp.

I have had mine for about 4 weeks now. I like it a lot and have not had any problems that others have reported. I have upgraded the firmware on all devices. Firmware upload is easy and straightforward.

This is my first controller so I can't compare it to anything, and I haven't had any time to really try a lot of features.

Functionality is easy to navigate and straightforward.
I read a lot about the controllers, and the only thing is I wish it had is options to program specific controls with if-else and micro-controller commands (I am a computer programmer). I believe profilux has these options.

I bought mine used for $450 and didn't have the extra cash to get a profilux.
If I had an extra $ I might have bought the profilux.

I guess there is a deal on pro-filux:

If I could do it over again I think I would go for the profilux, because I think it has more options. Tunze control is a huge plus for me.

I've had mine since last May. Controls everything in my system and has perfromed extremely well. I love it and it just keeps getting better. My NET module is inbound this week.

I returned mine after about a week. It was too much trouble to continue to update firm ware on all of the components everytime something changed....to pricey for so much work.
