i got a reefkeeper 2 and still haven't hooked it up haha so i'm of no help at all as far as the seios go doug, i think i'm going to be keeping them cause i'm going barebottom in my 120. sorry

their Apex unit seems interesting as well but i think it i still on preorder

If you can hold off, I'm sure that there will be lots of deals to be had on used AC3s as soon as the Apex units start shipping.

Actually there are some good deals right now on the "for sale" forum. Premium Aquatics has knocked $100 off on the AC3 Pro right so I think Neptune must be going to get rid of the standard AC3 and just build the Pro at the AC3 price.

Problem is Doug already ordered the RK so he is going to see if Marine Depot will return the RK and match Premium Aquatics price on the pro. I think they might do that.

If you ever purchase a Reefkeeper good luck with customer service! Talk about a runaround! Very dissapointed with the tech advise and solutions. Purchased two from Marine depot w/pinpoint probes. Both had problems right out of the box, great quality control! Marine depot is ok about returns, except the unrefunded shipping both ways! Aqua Controller or ELOS is the only way to go. PS anyone want to trade a RK for a AC LOL

Good for you Dnejdl! there are many more options for the AC3 and actual people that you can voice your problems to, not just a tech forum
