Any one using or had any experience with the reefkeeper controller? Thinking about one to control each individual light and fans.

Use it...love it.
I have the ph probe as well.
The unit has made my life a whole lot easier.
Any specific questions???

Yes, What I am looking to do is control 4 halides (IceCap 250's) and 1 set of 2 54 watt T5's.... I want the halides to come on one at a time across the tank from left to right about 15 to 30 minutes apart, then turn off left to right 15 to 20 minutes apart... I have checked and each ballast draws about 2 amps. Any issues with this?

I have the RK1 (well... RK) I've had it about 2 years now, I think.

I love it. After buying one I just don't see how people get along without some type of controller. I had an issue with mine like 10 months after I received it. I think it may have gotten water in the plug section, not sure. DA sent out a replacement ASAP.

It sounds like you shouldn't have an issue with what you have. The 2 main reasons I got mine was for light and temp control. I also use it to control a few maximods.

I have an AC jr and love it...........I am sure they are similar....They can do what you want and way more......I just got a great deal and went with the AC jr........I am sure I would have been happy with the Reefkeeper........

Dave, there are 8 outlets that you can program to do many things...one thing you can "define" each outlet as is a "type of lighting." You can then have each respective outlet come on at a preset time (and off at a preset time).
I'm running T5s, but the amps you suggest should not be a problem.
