Reeflink and Vortech pumps

Anyone having trouble linking their pumps and reeflink together.
I dont have the Radion lights and just wanted to control my pumps.
Reeflink 1 found 0 addressed devices is the best I can get out of a android, laptop, iphone and ipad.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

We have identified and fixed some issues with importing Vortechs with a ReefLink and no Radions. We are planning on releasing the patch first thing Monday morning.
 
Just got home and downloaded the new firmware. Wanted to say thanks all went smooth and works like a champ! I guess I'll have to buy the lights now.

I have 4 MP40s vortechs. I'm able to connect all of them to the reeflink. But I'm having a problem doing anti-sync mode. Sync mode is working fine. Thoughts?
 
ttanadi,

Are you using the beta website or is this via the IOS app? If using the web, I would recommend clearing the cache on your browser and power cycling all EcoTech products. After this, attempt to use anti-sync again and see if this makes a difference.
 
Wondering if you can sink the old mp40 w not the es ones to the reef link? I can't seem to get the reef link to find the 2 older mp40's

Only wireless EcoSmart and the new Quiet Drive VorTechs are compatible with the ReefLink. That said, EcoSmart controllers will need a firmware update before being found by the ReefLink.
 
Do the new quiet drive pumps need a firmware update to be found? My mp40wQD are not being found by my reef link. If so how do I update them?
 
Just following this thread as I have an RF module on it's way to upgrade my ES to a 'w' and will need to link it to ReefLink.

That is a great question. The answer is No - VorTech Quiet Drive pumps are compatible with EcoSmart Live out of the box. This is unlike EcoSmart drivers which require an update.
 
Having some issues with new Reeflink.

On one of my aquariums, I was able to find one of older MP40WES and import into Ecosmart Live, but not new (updated driver) MP40 Quiet Drive. Wouldn't show up with default scan.

On second tank, tried to add a pair of MP10WES, and Ecosmart App tried to update each firmware but failed at roughly 60% on the gauge.

I also tried to add one older MP40WES and it tried to update but I think it got bricked as now it just has a solid GREEN light and no LED's. Cannot change mode. Pump does adjust to flow knob but no LED's.

Any thoughts?

It took several attempts before I could get the firmware updates to get to 100% You need to go through the entire sequence each time. By several I mean 6 or more...
 
RF disabled on MP40w ES?

RF disabled on MP40w ES?

My Master MP40w ES shows up in a dimmed out image in reeflink and the info on it says that RF is disabled.
How can I get it enabled?

I have refreshed and rescanned and updated driver firmware. Still no RF enabled on master.:debi:
