reeflink problem

I keep having to unplug my reeflink and plug it back in to get it to connect to ecosmart live.What could be the problem?

So it is coming out of all blue? Where is the red bar on the reeflink.

Is your ReefLink updated to the most current firmware? Also, If you are connecting your ReefLink via Wi-Fi, I would recommend moving the ReefLink closer to your router if you haven't done so already.

I'm having the same exact problem, lights on reeflink become multicolored and I have to replug unit to reset. My reeflink is close to my router. When was the latest firmware update? Mine was installed mid January 2014.

Can the Reeflink be hardwired? Maybe temporarily run a wire to see if it fixes it?

Yes, you can hardwire it. I would try that. Where is the red bar on the reeflink.

I updated the firmware and the problem has stopped so far.

I have the same problem, and now it takes like forever for the reeflink to update.

Any suggestions to this update issue?

Are you running the most current version of the firmware? If not, I would recommend contacting the ReefLink USB only to your computer and updating the firmware via the ReefLink setup app.
