Reeflink & Vortech Pumps

So I went ahead and updated my Reeflink and then reset my four Vortech pumps. Here's the issue"¦

When I go into Device Manager and allow EcoSmart Live to wirelessly search for my devices"¦ It retrieves details for 18 devices (I have 14 Radions and 4 Vortechs). It seems to get stuck on the 18th device. I get a message: "Retrieving details for device 18 from ReefLink 4."

A "Timeout" then occurs and my Vortechs never show up to be controlled by my Reeflink

Any suggestions?????

Dan,

I would recommend power cycling all of your devices, and trying again. If this does not resolve the issue, please contact us directly for further troubleshooting.

Just bought second pump and don't see it at all on device list.. any ideas? Only one showing .. same one I had for a year.

You must update new pumps to be compatible with EcoSmart Live using the Upgrade Legacy VorTechs button on the Devices tab.

Can you turn off your pumps for a period of time with the link?

You do not have the ability to power down your pumps with the ReefLink.

Ecotech, It certainly would be a nice feature to be able to turn off the pumps all at once at feeding time directly from the reeflink?

Can that be in a future update? Should be a one button simple update "FEED"

Apex allows it?
