EcoTech Marine Reeflink is Dead

My Reeflink is no longer working. When plugged in the blue ring illuminates for less than a second and disappears. When I also plug into a computer with a USB cable, same thing; blue ring illuminates for less than a second and disappears. Reeflink set-up doesn't detect it when plugged into the computer with a USB. I tried to reset it it with the same result; blue ring illuminates for less than a second and disappears.

I went online tonight and found that these are no longer in stock and are discontinued by EcoTech. Has anyone had this happen before? If so, how did you fix it?

If the RF module inside is still good you can use it in a Wave Engine V2 to control your MP version EcoTech pumps as long as they are not updated to Mobius versions. I use a WEv2 to control my 2 MP10's.

Try this if you have a micro SD card handy. Open up the Reef Link and swap out the Micro SD card. This worked for me and brought the unit back to life on 2 separate occasions.
