Reeflink Won't Control Radion

Does the Radion need to be configured to the computer prior to adapting the reeflink for control? I attempt to configure my Radion through my computer it times out every time. Then, in the ecosmart live app it brings the Radion up and recognizes it, but I can not control it. I tried turning off the connection manager and just running the Reeflink but then it will not find the Radion. My thought was that it needed to configure for the laptop first before it can be used with the Reeflink, but when I try to configure for the laptop it times out. Any help on this?

Make sure you follow the steps on the ReefLink Quick Start Guide. If you continue to have issues, I would recommend calling in today.

I had the same issues with a used radion/reeflink that I bought. I ended up connecting the radion to the reeflink via usb, and then selecting factory reset via usb in the reeflink setup for the radion. After that it connected and all was well.

I'll try both and respond back. Thanks guys. How do I connect via USB? Just connect the USB from the Radion to the Reeflink?

That's probably it seeing as I got mine used also.

Yeah, actually I did. I reset the Radion to the factory settings and then redownloaded the Reeflink firmware update and sure enough it worked. Thanks for your help!
