Reeflo Orca 250 Questions

Hi......

I have a 300g/125g tandem set-up with total volume of 750 gallons in the system. I think I have settled on purchasing the Orca 250 skimmer. Couple questions:

They have made some changes to it in the most recent past. What are those changes?

Where is best place to purchase to insure I get one that has all the changes that are incorporated?

they have the pro model. you can get it at reefspecialty.com. the pro model has the upgraded cup and may/may not have the new impellar with it....? I know that reef specialty makes a new impellar for them though. They are all also coming with the baldor gold series motors. You're going to love this skimmer. I am running a 200 on my 160 and my friend is running a 250 pro oh a heavily stocked 450 (alomst 700 gallons total volume!)

I believe the Pro by reef specialty is a mod by them and not something Reeflo has done to the skimmer. I could be wrong maybe someone with more knowledge on the subject can chime in.

no, you are right the pro model is done exclusively by reefspecialty. that is why I directed him to go to reefspecialty.com. reeflo is the one who no includes the baldor gold series motors with all skimmers.
