Oh no, I hope you find one! I don't have anything to help :(

Well no luck local last night, But did sort out that Mcmaster carr sells the exact seal that Reeflow uses. (what would I do without Google) I ordered it up and should have it tomorrow. Just to be safe I ordered the $32.00 one from reeflo, but have no idea when that one will be in.

James, Thanks so much. I have a very small pump running the return water up so I at least have some flow. I have both my MP40s cranked up and LEft my lights off to try and keep the tank ( for lack of a better word) asleep. I should have a seal kit by the early am tomorrow. If need arrives I might take you up on the offer.

I need to track my replacement DC pump. I hope that will arrive soon.

Ok great, sounds like you got a solid plan! Absolutely, if you need the pump just let me know!

Definitely going to be ordering a spare seal set for my Reeflo after reading this thread. Just curious, how long was this pump in operation before your seal fell apart?

Easily 5 years i'd say. And it only fell apart because I decided to try and change the impeller to the smaller Barracuda to save a bit electric usage. Not to mention I did not need that much flow.

I remember that these seals were a PIA to change and they always start to leak after x years so it's a consumable if you have these pumps.

Yeah, Mine has been running leak free continuously for easily 5 years. I'm so glad I found the exact replacement seal at mcmaster Carr. It arrived next day at no extra cost, was the exact seal I needed and best part.... only $8.00!!!!!! Reeflo wanted $33 shipped and would have taken 5 days. Only one with these pumps should look at this option.

After removing my old seal, i'm surprised it had not been leaking sooner. It was in rough shape. lol But everything is all cleaned up and back in action, working better than ever. I even switched to the smaller barracuda impeller till my DC pump arrives.
