reeflux question

hi guys , do any of you use 10k reeflux 250 se bulbs? if so have you noticed what colour the bulb looks when new and did it change(when looking at the bulb not the tank). did they start off with a tint of yellow/orange and then change to white after a few weeks or was it the other way round?

Im running 4 reeflux 10k with PFO HQI ballast without Atinic supplement. It is crisp white with tint of blue

I had them start out way yellow, and I was freaking out, but they are a nice crisp white now. I also have to 250W SE bulbs.

I love them, they are my favorite bulbs yet.

pasenah...they were designed to run on e-ballasts. If you are running them on a standard mag ballast your color will be more towards the white/yellow than the white/blue.

I run them on mag ballast and get a crisp white from the 10K, way better than other 10Ks especially XM which I had used in the past.

Yes, they look much better on an electronic ballast.

thanks for the help. im happy now. i run them on e ballasts but had a light change around recently and forgot which the older bulb was. i had one white and one orange. now i know. thanks again
