I am thinking about doing a 60 gallon cube with a reef pack 505 as a nano setup.
I hate the AIO setups out there with the false back wall as they don't allow room for skimmer and once you start hanging stuff of the back of the tank things get messy fast. I would like to know if the reef pack skimmer empty's in to the Comline filter so as to eliminate any micro bubble issues in the tank?. finally is it possible to run an additional Comline filter and attach it as a bank so I could have a filter basket with media as well?

The Reefpack 505 is basically a 9011 glued to a 3166.500, they work as seperate units so the skimmer does not empty into the filter. Generally once it is broken in (2-3 weeks) and if it is level and the front shutter is closed you won't have microbubble issues. It does include the Osmolator and 5 replacement cartridges and the reservoir. Amazon stocks this item, and for second filter for media you could just add another 3166.500 with the filter cartridge 871. Another option would be a 9011 skimmer and a 3167.500 which has two filter bells and a stronger single pump and yet another option would be to just use the reefpack and alternate the cartridges or add an E-Jet pump on its own for mechanical filtration (1605 would be ideal) and use the Reefpack filter for chemical media with the 871 or vice versa.
