I don't know where is good price. I used go to SF Brewery on Clement and they don't do it anymore.

whats the name of that place in South Bay? How much for 5lb and 20lb? Do they swap or refill?

Thanks. They don't open on weekends, Won't work for me. I may have to try airgas but I heard their prices are outrages. Anyone try them?
No shops in SF will refill. They can't do it, its against the law in SF.

They don't do refills, only swaps. Their supplies come from Alliances Welding Supply in Berkeley. I guess it's not a bad deal in my case since my tank expires soon and would need to re-certify in another year. Avoiding double cost.

I typically get mines done at a Dick's Sporting Goods. You can around to see if there's one around that'll do it for you.

Dicks does refills? How much for 20lbs and 5 lbs?
Alliance Welding in Berkeley will do it, but it'll cost you like 26 bucks as they don't like doing it for individual people, they rather do it in bulk. Albany Aquarium gets all there fills at Alliance, and usually has multiple 5-10lb tanks in stock that you can switch out at the store for less than they charge at Alliance. I will no longer go direct to Alliance, and get all my fills for SW and FW tanks, as well as brewing purposes at Albany Aquarium.
If you don't want to go to the East Bay, why not call up Aqua Forrest...they may do similar to Albany Aquarium, or they may be able to direct you somewhere local to the city that can fill for you.
