I have (2) 250w HQI's on my tank. It's been setup for years. The other day one of the reflector glass covers broke shortly after I lifted my canopy to feed. The local glass place didn't have tempered glass in stock so I temporarily replaced replaced the broken glass with non-tempered glass until I could get the correct glass. About 20 minutes after replacing it, the non-tempered glass broke. This was just a few days ago. Now, at about 6am this morning I heard a bang and the glass on my OTHER reflector broke. My lights don't come on until about 8am or so.
Is this just coincidence or could there be something going on here? Could my pistol shrimp have anything to do with it?
