Reflectors

Getting ready to buy some reflectors just don't know what to get. I am currently using spider reflectors inside of a canopy (250mh 60X24X24). I have about 14 inches inside of the canopy. Any suggestions welcomed and thanks.

I would go with either lumenarcs or Lumenmax due to their lower profile and great output. Lumenbrights need more clearance. I would probably look at the lumenmax line of reflectors first for your setup. Hope it helps!

Lumenmax elite are very nice reflectors

No problem at all, I just used to be in the same boat when on my 125 and 240. Both had canopies, so those were the reflectors I was looking at. I also thought about after I get the reflectors why not cut holes around them on the top of the canopy...ever think about that? It doesn't have to be the whole reflector but at least a little to have part of the reflector sticking out. It would free up some space, but that was just one of the ideas I had.

Yeah they do look like nice reflectors jjk reef00. Im really looking at those but have read on here that they only cover 2'X2' area, and others have posted that they cover more than that. Guess I can go with three sets in the canopy but really just want two due to heat issues especially how it gets here in the summer. Are you currently using the Elites jjk reef00?

That too is not a bad idea Fitchguy, I really never thought about that. The Crown Molding would cover it im sure. What did you go with before your 450g up grade Fitchguy?

No I'm using the lumenbright large pendents. Very good spread but you have to hang them high. 15" off the water, I haven't had any heat issues but if i did I would just add some fans.

You could always just ditch the canopy if it was that much of a problem for you.
