I looked on ebay and there are tons of them and I am worried about getting a knock off one that will fail prematurely. Do you guys have a link to the one/brand/modle you got.
I got mine on sale at Drs. Foster and Smith years ago and it's still working great. I had always calibrated it with RO/DI but then recently tested it with Randy's Calibration Solution and it was dead on.

Be carefull about buying a refractometer on Ebay...Some refractormeters are made to test Anti-Freeze....BUT are passed off as Salinity meters on Ebay..( NOT ALL...JUST BE CAREFULL )
