Refugium and cynobacteria...

I have a quetion that baffles me. Why would my tank have no signs of any, and I repeat any, cynobacteria and my refugium does. My tank, and water parameters are very good, in fact my tank is as beautiful as it has ever been. But since I installed my refugium, it is only there where I see, sometimes like now, some ccynobacteria. Could it be that the water flow is not enough through the refugium? I have three different types of macros growing in the refugium. Please help.

You know, I got a little in my aquafuge, so I added a couple of redleg hermit crabs. Seems to have solved the problem.
I don't know why it happened ether. Nothing in the main tank.
But the crabs took care of it.

I had the same problem here, I increased my kalk drip and brought my alk up a little and in about 2 weeks the stuff was totally cleared from the fuge

Thanks! I got rid of it with PhosBan and RowaPhos using my canister for a week. Also I used some Carbon on the Magnum 250 Canister to clear the water and it looks fantastic.
