OK so i have a sapphire 20 cube sump that looks like this
I want to get some kind of light for the refugium section. I don't really know much about that kind of lighting to be honest. All I know is a $20 taotronics bulb from amazon and a $300 kessil h380, i'm not sure what the "in between" options are.
Given how the fuge is the long chamber in the front, it almost looks perfect for an LED strip light of some sort, but i don't know what's out there in terms of refugium strip lights. The sump is 20" wide so an LED strip that would fit within that might be kind of cool, though i'm not even sure if i should worry about trying to light the entire refugium or just light one side and stick all my chaeto on that side (probably the side water is flowing towards since it will want to be there anyway) , or what. If people think the $20 bulb would do the trick then i'd almost be tempted to try it since it's so little investment, i'm not sure what would be considered "overkill" for a refugium of this size.
