Refugium lighting

Looking for a low heat fuge light. Possibly a small led fixture. Want to get away from the extra heat of screw in bulbs. All ill really need it for is chaeto and an occassional frag. What's everyone's opinion on fuge lights? I've been looking at a cheap finnex fixture. Probably fine for my needs but surely not the highest quality

I run standard screw in cf natural daylight spectrum bulbs from lowes, I run the refugium lighting opposite the tank lighting so heat is not really an issue and using a clamp on shop light its under $10 a piece.

+1 I use CFLs with the aluminum shop lights from Lowe's as well.

I haven't used one of these yet but I am planning on getting one for my fuge. Finnex Might Ray 21 LED Light, 18 white, 3 blue for $22.72 on amazon.

Save your money....ordered this and the light is so dim. My mini booklight puts out more light than this thing. I am thinking about using it near some of my equipment to be able to see equipment without led displays.

May just stick with the spiral bulbs for now. At least I have all the stuff. One less expense on a tank build is great!

i have a marineland 18" led (single bright) and i use a regular screw in 60w led bulb from home depot, cheato grows like crazy with it and none of the lights make any heat
