Refugium lighting

What sort of lighting do I need for a refugium? The fuge will be part of my sump and will be around 12 inches deep. Also, how long will I need to have the light(s) on?

you generaly dont need much light for a fuge. you could use a small power compact retrofit. I would run it for about 12 hrs at night (the oposite of your display tank)
