dont know if i got the right bulb from homedepot, its a floodlight with a twisted bulb inside it, it came in a red package and is about 90 watts i think... is this the right bulb? my calurpa is dying off and falling apart if i move it.

I got the energy star one with the twist bulb in it. It says 16w but since it has an internal reflector it puts out I think 86ish. My cheato grows like crazy.

I would throw out the dying cheato and if you want, come by and I will give you a nice size bag full for free of cheato. I got mine from Joe aka nyvp and it needs pruning. Let me know

If anyone else needs good cheato just pm me because I am about to throw away the excess.

I just got one at Home Depot yesterday. It is also a spotlight type bulb with the twisted flouresent inside. My bulb is a 65 watt daylight bulb that uses I think 17 watts and the packaging says 6500 Kelvin.

My chaeto grows like crazy too
