Refugium/Sump DIY Plans

Hello Fellow Reefists,

Can someone point me in the right direction for somte DIY plans for a 55 gallon refugium/sump st up. I would like step by step plans for adding the baffles. I have the tank, just need the plans for the bubble trap and the return and where to put the baffles. I want to also add my skimmer to it too. Any help any of you have would be great. Got my new halide/pc light set up for Christmas and ready to finish the set up with a kick but fuge/sump.

Hi Dennis,
I'm working on mine right now for my 65g and doing a redesign of my 75g. Are you a DIY person and it sounds like you are, well checkinhawk and myself are working on plans right now. Give me a few hours and I'll post my plans on your thread. We are using acrylic but glass or really anything will work.

Hello Denwak,
Here's my basic refugium design for a 75g I have. I still need to figure out the best holder for the probes and heaters that I plan to add. The height of the baffles are kind of "TBD", but will most likely be around 12 to 16 inches.
