refugium where to buy

the fish bowl has them for 30 for a drilled tank (30gals) this is what i have - i have two plexi - but i am in deltona

I was thinking about to convert my sump into a refugium but I have several issues:
This is my sump - Megaflow Model 4
a. Overflow Bubble Chamber(1): I want to put my skimmer where the bioballs where but how can I put a filter from the chamber 1 to 3? if I take 2 off the water have to go straight to the bottom without filter and with a lot of noise.
b. I want to put the refugium in chamber 4 but I have to close the access from 3 to for in the bottom and open some on top to let the water go through to the refugium. But there was a tiny crack in the bottom and we add acrylic to one side so the bottom is not level.
c. from 4 to 5 I have to extend the acrylic because the wall to the left of the blue sponge is not tall enough.
So there are a lot to fix and I dont know if I will end up breaking the sump instead to get a nice refugium.
The size of my sump is: 36" x 13 3/4" x 19"
Any ideas ... Ah .. and thanks for the help

Idea 1) If you have plenty of money just ask John at FAOIS to build you one - I don't have that much money personally ;-) I'm sure that will be the most attractive and functional solution.
Idea 2) If you don't want to modify your sump but replace it with something cheap: You could make chambers in a 20 gallon tank for about $40 ... 25$ for the tank and 15 for cheap-o glass at home depot... that's what I did. Ugly but it works.
Idea 3) Cutting it up:
I'm assuming that chamber 3 and 4 are open to each other below the bioball chamber.
If you wanted to make this a typical sump you could :
1) Remove that entire bioball assembly (cut it out if you have to)
2) Cut out the wall separating the top of 3 from 4
3) Re-glue that wall so it's on the bottom and the water flows over the top from 3 to 4 instead of underneath.
4) If the water is crashing down too much still you could cut the top off the wall separating 1 from 3.
Also people usually put baffles (kind of like the 2 walls and the sponge) between the skimmer and the refugium but I don't think you have to.

i would put filter socks in 2-3 and skimmer in 4 and refug and return pump in 5 or drill hole in side of 5 and use external pump in it
