I have a drilled 120 that I was thinking I could setup as a remote fuge. I am going to put a bunch of live rock and a deep sand bed in there and have it drain into my basic acryllic sump. What kind of light would you recommend putting over it? Does it need a lot of flow, or will the movement from the return be enough?

The refugium I have setup now is a cpr that hangs on the back of my 90 gallon. The lighting is powecompact.

IMO the flow rate depends on what type of plant you are going to keep in your fuge. As far a light I have seen everything from shop lights to MH.

Thanks Ade I was going to stop by homedepot to see if they had the grow lights with built in reflectors. Has anyone tried the Algae Turf Scrubber?
