I've heard of people modifying the back of their Nano and building Fuges. Anyone have any info on that? Perhaps a link that leads me to a past thread? Thank you

In addition, I was thinking of attaching a Remora C Skimmer on the back... Anyone know of a small more compact skimmer people have had success with in the past on JBJ Nanos?

I used a Aquafuge with a Lee's Counter Current Skimmer for my 26 baow and 7 bow. Both worked extremely well and functioned as my only filtration as well. You can check my gallery for pics.

the aquaclears work wonderfully. i highly recommend it if your on a budget. the modification is very simple to do as well. i have one on my 20g ... i don't use it as a fuge but a sump w/ LR rubble.
